For the fourth year, our annual FREE community meal returns!
It's a party, with catered food, movies on the screens, and chosen family vibes all afternoon.
We'll have pozole, pan con pavo, and more on the menu. The bar will be open (cash and credit card accepted) for any drinks you need. The food is on us, the drinks are on you.
How can you contribute? Bring a dessert you think people would like. Anything is a good thing!
And here's the thing: whether you celebrate the holiday or not isn't what we are concerned with.
The reality is, this can be a very challenging day for our community. Isolation, disconnection, hunger...
There is no reason we can't come together to make sure everybody has a safe, affirming place to go, and a good, dignified meal to eat, all in a familiar space.
And that's the thing: community is for everyone, regardless of age, income, professional or academic background, body type, and so on.
